Paralea Boose is a Senior Computer Consultant with
Business Technology Solutions. She has over 20 years of experience in
design, implementation and use of accounting systems on a variety of
hardware platforms including Unix, Novell and Windows NT/2000. During
her career in industry accounting, she has worked with companies
including Fortune 500, government contractors, healthcare, university,
entertainment, transportation and sales force automation training. Her
services have included extensive report writing, development of
business policies and procedures, ISO 9000 certification, system
installation, chart of accounts design and software training; her
Accounting responsibilities have included Staff Accountant, Regional
Financial Manager, and Controller.
Paralea is a Certified Public Accountant who
graduated with high honors from Faulkner University in Montgomery,
Alabama with a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Computer Business
Applications, plus a minor in Humanities/Performing Arts. She has
pursued graduate study in the Master of Accounting program at the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Paralea is a member of the
NCACPA and AICPA and has earned the CITP (Certified Information
Technology Professional) designation. She is a Certified Business
Partner for Sage Abra HRMS (inculding Abra Workforce Connections), Sage MAS 90 and 200 ERP, and Sage FAS Fixed
Assets. Paralea is also a Sage Software Certified Trainer for Sage Abra
HRMS, Sage MAS 90 and 200, Crystal Reports and FRx.
