Lissa Eilers Johnsen, CMC, CITP.CPA
is the founder and President/CEO of Business Technology
Solutions. Lissa has over twenty years of experience implementing
business, accounting and human resources solutions. Her
professional focus is helping her clients enhance their business
processes through the implementation of technology solutions, making
them more efficient and profitable as a result.
Lissa holds many certifications, including being a:
- Certified Public Accountant;
- Certified Information Technology Professional;
- Certified Management Consultant;
- Sage Abra HRMS Certified Business Partner and Certified Trainer;
- Certified Business Partner and Certified Trainer on Sage MAS 90 and 200 ERP;
- Certified Trainer and Business Partner for Sage BusinessWorks Accounting;
- Certified Business Partner for Sage FAS Asset Solutions; and
- Certified Consultant for Unitime Time & Attendance solution.
Prior to founding Business Technology
Solutions, Lissa was a partner in a large local North Carolina
accounting firm where she developed the firm’s IT consulting
practice. Before this, she was a senior consulting manager and
auditor with an international Big Four certified public accounting firm
where she worked on many international and domestic system development
and implementation projects for small and large clients alike.
Lissa has a B.S. in Accounting from Appalachian State University with a
concentration in Information Systems graduating with honors.
Lissa is a published author, writing articles on accounting and
technology for national and regional trade publications. In
addition, she is a frequent speaker for and volunteers with a number of
accounting and technology membership organizations including the
Information Technology Alliance (ITA), American Institute of CPAs
(AICPA), Society for Human Resource Manager (SHRM), Sage Software
Insights Conference, Carolina Visions Conference, Carolina Insights
Conference and the North Carolina Association of CPAs. She is currently
serving as the Treasurer of the ITA and the Chair of the NCACPA Members
in Business and Industry Committee.
